Film Transformer 3 Dark of The Moon tells that in 1961 there was a spacecraft of Cybertronian landed on the moon that also is called with Ark. This is the last plane that graduated from Cybertron that broken because of war. This plane is handled by Sentinel Perdana, this plane took “Pillar”, the technology that could save Cybertronians. In the earth, Ark fall down detected by NASA and President, John F. Kennedy suggested and took the mission to send the human being to the moon. In the 1969, Apollo 11 landed on the lunar surface to collected samples from The Ark.

In mission to the moon, United States twist the alliance with Autobots but largely act independently.
