THE FOK BUSTERS

The chickens of  foxearth farm were a very special lot and far more difficult to catch than the average, fat, dull chicken. for a stars, they had long legs which made it easier to run away, and then they were all coloured a muddy brown or grey so that they couldn't be spotted as easily as more brightly coloured fowls.

The foxearth fowls found their names on the bits of writing scattered about the farm, like fisons and leyland Trespassers and beware of .But things were atill not safe at Foxearth,  for a group of determined young foxes, hungry for the taste of chicken, kept laying plans for one fiendishly cunning raid after an other- and Ransome, Sims and jefferies and their mother found a way of outwiting thr most crafty of them.  Not for nothing would legend one day  know them as the Fox Busters.
